Business 911
Virtual Business 911 was
founded by Barb Asselin and Lynn Berry to provide
the business community with a consolidation of
qualified professionals able to assist with all
administrative and online tasks that may be required
on an ongoing or temporary basis.
Why did you decide to
start a VA business?
We felt that
the combination of our publishing achievements, work
experience, teaching expertise and business
contacts, would make a VA business a very exciting
venture for us. We have compiled an awesome
team of professionals who are eager to provide
top-notch service to our clients.
Why should clients use your services, instead of
other VA firms?
What makes Virtual Business 911 unique is that we
are a "one stop shop". We are able to provide
clients with any type of service they require, all
the way from general administrative duties and
transcription, to social media, graphic design and
internet marketing.
Barb and Lynn's
Credentials
Barb
and Lynn are the co-authors of Legal
Transcription in Canada, an Emond Montgomery
Publications text book, published in 2010 and
offered to community colleges throughout Canada for
use in their Legal Assistant programs.
Lynn Berry is the Coordinator of the Office
Administration - Legal and Executive diploma programs at
Algonquin College's Woodroffe campus in Ottawa,
Ontario, Canada. Lynn is also a full-time
professor in both programs. Lynn has an
impressive 25+ years of teaching experience at the
college level.
Lynn is actively involved with the International
Association of Administrative Professionals (www.iaap-ottawa.org).
Barb Asselin teaches various law and computer
courses at Algonquin College's Woodroffe campus in
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She has been teaching
in the Paralegal, Law Clerk and Office
Administration - Legal
programs since 2004.
Barb worked as a Law Clerk for many years prior
to her work at the college. She is also the
publisher of the Ontario Municipal & Real
Estate Directory, an annually updated
directory for real estate lawyers, professionals and
municipal engineers.
Barb is a council-appointed member of the Committee
of Adjustments for the Township of McNab-Braeside
and has her Municipal Administration Program (M.A.P.)
completion certificate.
Barb has also worked as a VA in the real estate and
internet marketing sectors since 2007. She
regularly writes online and offline content and
articles and maintains a number of websites, blogs
and social media campaigns for her clients.
